# Integers worksheet for class 6 with solutions explained

If you are in class 6 and completed learning integer’s concept then this is for you only. I have prepared integers worksheet for all the class 6 students which helps in enhancing integers concept.

Even though students are solving integers problems from their textbook, it is not enough to understand integers clearly. Additional problems are always need to give them in the form of worksheet. So keeping in that mind below I have given integers worksheet for the class 6 students. Not only this worksheet students of class 6 should solve as many as worksheets on integers, so that they will be perfect in integers concept. While solving worksheet don’t check the answers without trying solving the problem. On your own solve the worksheet and then check answers.

## Integers worksheet for the class 6 as follows:

(1). The product of 3 integers are given as  the 46, out of 3 integers the two integers are -23 and 1 then find the third integer.

(a)-11              (b) -5

(c) -2                (d) 9

(2). 9+6-1+15-10+7-11+7-4+18 =

(a) 79               (b) 36

(c) 14              (d) 5

(3). What is the multiplicative inverse of 15?

(a) $\frac { 1 }{ 15 }$              (b) 15

(c) 1                (d) 0

(c) Multiplication  (d) All

(5). The smallest negative integers is ?

(a) -1                 (b) 0

(c) -99              (d) Does not exist

(6). Set of integers are denoted by the letter…?

(a) I                   (b) T

(c) Z                  (d) both “a” & “c”

(7). What is additive identity of integers?

(a) 0                    (b) 1

(c) -1                    (d) cant say

(8). What is the additive inverse of the number -14?

(a) -14                  (b) 0

(c) 14                    (d) 1

(9). Division of “0” by any integer is?

(a) 0                      (b) 1

(c) -1                     (d) not defined

(10). The product of -8 and -6 is?

(a) 48                   (b) -48

(c) 42                   (d) -42

## The above given class 6 integers worksheet solutions:

(1). Let the third integer be “y”.

-23 x 1 x y = 46  (product means multiplication)

-23 x y = 46

y = $\frac { 46 }{ -23 }$

y = -2

The third integer is -2 (option c is correct)

(2). Add positive integers i.e. 9+6+15+7+7+18 = 62

Add negative integers i.e. -1-10-11-4 = -26

Therefore, 62-26 = 36 (option b is correct)

(3). Multiplicative inverse of 15 is $\frac { 1 }{ 15 }$ (option a is correct)

(4). Added (option b is correct)

(5). There is no smallest negative integer, so answer is does not exist (option d is correct)

(6). Option d is correct

(7). Option a is correct

(8). Additive inverse of -14 is 14 (option c is correct)

(9). 0 (option a is correct)

(10). -8 x -6 = 48 (option a is correct)

Hope after completing this worksheet class 6 students will be getting more confidence in solving integer problems.
