Example problem:

The side of equilateral triangle is 18 cm then find its height.

Solution:

According to **height of equilateral triangle formula**

= \frac { \sqrt { 3 } }{ 2 } × a

= \frac { \sqrt { 3 } }{ 2 } × 18

= \sqrt { 3 } × 9

= 1.732 × 9

= 15.588 cm
