Sum of odd number places in the given number = 2 + 5 +4 = 11

Sum of even number places in the given number = 7 + 8 + 7 = 22

Difference = 22 – 11 = 11.

As the difference is divisible by 11 so the entire number is divisible by the number 11.

As per divisibility rule by 11,

Sum of odd number places in the given number = 5 + 2 + 7 + 2 + 9 = 25

Sum of even number places in the given number = 1 + 3 + 0 + 8 = 12

As the difference is not divisible by 11 so the entire number is not divisible by the number 11.

Solution:

Sum of even number places in the given number = 2 + 1 + 6 + 1 = 9

Difference = 29 – 9 = 20.
