♦ The area of semi circle is given as 77 m^{2} then find its radius.

Solution:

Given

A = 77 m^{2}

½ × π ×r^{2} = 77

½ × 22/7 × r^{2} = 77

r^{2} = 77 x 2 x 7/22

r^{2 } = 49

r^{2} = 7^{2}

r = 7

Therefore, radius of semi circle is 7 m.
