Given

Base of parallelogram = 6 cm

Height of parallelogram = 9 cm

We know that,

Area of parallelogram = base x height

= 6 x 9

= 54 square cm.

2. Find the base of parallelogram if height equals to 15 cm and the area is 195 square cm.

Solution:

Given

Height of parallelogram = 15 cm

Area = 195 square cm

We know that

Area of parallelogram = base x height

195 = b x 15

195/15 = b

13 = b

Therefore, base = 13 cm.

3. Find the height of parallelogram if the area is 300 square cm and the base is 12 cm.

Solution:

Given

Base of parallelogram = 12 cm

Area of parallelogram = 300 square cm

We know that,

**Area of a parallelogram = base x height**

300 = 12 x h

300/12 = h

25 = h

Therefore, height = 25 cm.
