# 1 to 30 squares explained in detail

Learn and know what are 1 to 30 squares in math. Learning squares is important for every student as it has many applications. Learning squares from 1 to 30 is equal to learning square roots because both will be vice versa. Not only squares, cubes also from 1 to 30 we should learn i.e. squares and cubes up to 30 definitely we should know.

In class VIII CBSE, one chapter id dedicated to square and square roots. This shows that what is the importance of learning squares. And remember that it is not difficult to learn 1 to 30 squares. If you see the definition/meaning of square then you can understand how to write squares up to 30 easily.

## What is the meaning of square in numbers?

If a number “m” is multiplied by itself i.e. m x m then we get some result for example “y” i.e. m x m = y. Now we say that the number “y” is square of “m”. In Mathematically notation we write it as ${ m }^{ 2 }$ = y.

For example, 6 x 6 we get 36, here the number 36 we say it is a square of 6 i.e.${ 6 }^{ 2 }$ = 36.

If 19 is multiplied by itself i.e. 19 x 19 we get 361. So we say that 361 is square of 19 and expressed as ${ 19 }^{ 2 }$ = 361.
